About the Teacher...

My Loving Family!
Hi, I'm Loreen. Miyoshi. I've been teaching 18 years for the Norwalk-La Mirada District.  I've taught 6th grade, 2nd grade, and primary combination classes over the years.  This year I'm teaching second grade.  Teaching has been so rewarding for me, and I am very passionate about education.  I love learning and am always looking for ways to improve as a teacher.  I received my degrees from U.C. Irvine and Chapman University.  I am so excited that my class will be a part of the MIT Program again this year.  Last year was so rewarding being a part of this wonderful program.  I learned so much about technology and I am excited to continue in the program.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, going shopping, playing on my
                                     iPad, and making craft projects.
