International Day
International Day was held on Friday, June 7th. The students performed 2 dances and 1 song. First, some of the girls came out and danced to Pearly Shells, as Kona's grandparents sang and played the ukelele. What a treat! Next, the huge group of dancers performed the Hukilau. They were all fishing and ready for the big luau! We ended the performance with a song from the Lilo and Stitch movie, entitled, "Hawaiian Rollercoaster." The students even learned how to sing parts of the song in Hawaiian! What an awesome job they did!!
If anyone took any video and wouldn't mind sending it to me in Quicktime, I'd really like to post them online. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped make this performance a success!!
