I'll see you in the fall! Don't forget to stop by and give a hoot!
The time has come to say goodbye...I will miss all my little owls! You learned a lot this year, gained new friendships, and were able to learn more about technology! I wish you all well. Have a wonderful summer, review what you learned, and READ, READ, READ!!

New projects have been posted! They turned out great!! I am so proud of how they all turned out! Your hard work really paid off. If you completed your project(s) but don't see it posted yet, it will be added soon. I did not have a chance to review all projects yet...
Ugh! I've been having difficulty posting projects. I've been up very late trying to convert them to movies, then they wouldn't play right. I talked with Mr. Speth and he helped me to troubleshoot my problems. Thanks Jim!! Hopefully you'll see your projects soon!
Check back by Friday to see the slideshow presentations posted under "Student Projects" section. We have been working hard to complete the Family Albums and the Science Exploration slideshows. Cannot wait to see them!
Congratulations, students! Thanks to all who attended the awards. It was great seeing our Sylvester and the Magic Pebble DVD on the large screen. Also, congrats to the second graders for the award for their instruments created after seeing the Disneyland Band perform.
I was privileged to attend the California Distinguished School Awards with Ms. Cantu and a few other Eastwood Teachers. What an honor! I met Mr. Tom Torlakson, Superintendent of Public Schools. Ms. Cantu received well-deserved recognition for all her efforts in leading our school to this great honor.
Wow, what a fun day! There was so much to see...I hope you had a great time, and learned something new. What did you think of the large T-Rex puppet?
Trimester 3 is already here! Can't believe that we are 2/3 done! Congratulations to all trimester award recipients!
Click on the "Student Projects" tab to see the third grade projects created. The students worked really hard creating their slides for their moon and solar system projects!
Today I'm at a MIT teacher training session. I'm able to collaborate with colleagues from other schools in the district to create lesson plans, get project ideas, and celebrate successes in our classroom. I'm learning how to make my website more exciting and interactive, so let me know what you think..
